Meet Bambi

Into the forest floor

Bambi is a visual artist specializing in macro fungi photography and animal illustrations, both real and fantastical. Blending traditional and digital techniques, Bambi explores the hidden beauty of the natural world and transforms imaginative concepts into evocative visual stories.

Biography:

Bambi (Temuco, Chile, 2000) is a visual artist whose work explores the quiet worlds hidden beneath our feet and the creatures—real or imagined—that inhabit them. Born and raised in Temuco, she developed an early fascination with nature’s overlooked details, a curiosity that later grew into a passion for macro photography of fungi and expressive animal illustration.

From 2019 to 2025, Bambi studied Visual Arts at the Catholic University of Temuco, a period marked by experimentation, growth, and three collective exhibitions that shaped her artistic voice. Her practice merges traditional and digital techniques to create intimate, atmospheric imagery that bridges reality and fantasy.

Now working as a freelance artist, Bambi continues to build visual narratives that invite viewers to look closer—into the forest floor, into imagined worlds, and into the subtle stories carried by animals and small beings.
